From the Southeast Watershed Forum:

Good Afternoon Watershed Coordinators –

I am hoping you will all share the information below with your watershed partners throughout Region 4. The Southeast Watershed Forum and University of Georgia have just released a report on Green Building Programs in the Southeast. The project was funded with a grant from EPA Region 4.

Many of the programs focus on site design and watershed-friendly development practices, along with water and energy efficient building and community practices. The report is available as a free pdf at http://www.southeastwaterforum.org/files/pdf/GreenBldgRpt2012.pdf .

We are also encouraging people to sign up for the free regional webinar on Community Green Building Practices in the Southeast scheduled for May 17 from 2-3 p.m. (Eastern)
The webinar will feature community leaders from Mecklenburg County, NC; Tallahassee, FL, and Chattanooga, TN discussing their efforts to build more sustainable communities.

In addition, EPA staff will discuss their Sustainable Design and Green Building Toolkit for Local Communities.

Please help us spread the word on the free webinar. Registration is available at:
